Personal Introduction
Before starting Jacobson Law Offices PLLC, Mr. Jacobson spent several years advocating for plaintiffs in personal injury matters, including his time at one of the largest plaintiffs’ law firms in the United States. Earlier in his career, he served as an attorney at a first party property firm where he obtained millions of dollars in settlements for residential and commercial policyholders. He also worked at a commercial real estate firm, where he gained experience handling multi-million dollar real property tax cases throughout New York and Florida. Previously, Mr. Jacobson was an associate at a national creditor’s rights firm litigating on behalf of large national financial institutions. He managed a caseload of over a thousand files and has been lead counsel for over a dozen non-jury trials. Mr. Jacobson earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology, along with a minor in Immunology, from the State University of New York, University at Buffalo. He then went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law. Mr. Jacobson is admitted to practice law in Florida, New York, Connecticut and Illinois.
