What our users are saying
I have an exciting announcement to share with you. This one is for my attorney friends so if you’re not an attorney, just feel free to keep on scrolling. I am happy to share that I have partnered with Overture Law, the invite-only attorney referral platform made specifically with us in mind.
Overture was founded by some big names in the legal tech space so you know they're super tech forward. Bottom line — they make it really easy for us to refer clients out to other attorneys. As a solo when you want to make sure you’re handing your clients off to is going to handle your clients with the same amount of respect and care for their matter that you would have.
So crucial for me to know that when I am recommending another attorney that it’s somebody that I can trust. I have been just dying for a platform like this to come to life.
Referral fees are handled ethically. I am so big on ethics and making sure we’re doing everything by the book knowing that Overture is helping us handle that seamlessly is also such a huge plus.
If you’re a solo that is just as excited as I am about this new platform, make sure to go apply at Overture.law.
As a general counsel attorney, sometimes you get really nervous about sending clients to other attorneys for maybe some matters that you don't do yourself. One of the things I've loved about Overture is providing the ability to vet attorneys to make sure they have the skills or the time to do it.
One of the things that I look for most whenever I want to send my clients to someone is just what is their responsiveness? Are they going to take care of them? There is an essence to where who I send it to reflects back on me. Overture has been a great help in making sure that I can maintain that client relationship.
As an attorney that moved into a new practice area, I continue to get calls from friends, family, acquaintances, who are always looking for a recommendation for me for a good attorney. So often I just didn't have anywhere to send them. This really came to light recently when I had a friend from the other side of the country who had a pretty significant injury, and she sought me out looking for an attorney reference and I didn't know anyone in her area. Normally I would have just gone to Google.
When I became a member of Overture Elite, It was so nice that I could see that there was a vetted process, where suddenly my network was opened up to trusted attorneys all over the country, and I could know that when I was referring a friend or family member they would be in good hands.
I have a lot on my plate and so I needed it to be really simplified and automated and I was very happy with the process, did not take up a lot of time, you do not need to be a tech guru and it makes your life easier, not harder.
My name is Ben Walsh and I've been a member of the Overture Elite network for a little over a year now. Recently, I had a family friend approach me with an issue he was having with the title on his primary residence. I'm not a real estate attorney and I didn't know any real estate attorneys in the area that could handle the matter. But I certainly wanted to help out my family friend.
I made a post on Overture, immediately got two or three responses. I checked out their profile and their ratings. I reached out to one, and he was a great match. I connected my family friend with the attorney and within 24 hours the engagement agreement was set up. The retainer was paid and my family friend felt very comfortable moving forward that his issue will be resolved.
I highly recommend Overture, I've made a number of referrals through the platform, I've made a number of connections with attorneys in my area and across the nation that I'll be working with for many years to come. Thank you.
So this post is strictly for my attorney friends. I want to tell you all about a new platform that I joined recently called Overture Law. Overture is a referral platinum for young, tech savvy attorneys that allows you to refer matters to other attorneys, while making it simple and easy for you to ethically share referral fees.
Overture's mission is to empower independent attorneys who want to broaden their firm's reach and meet the needs of potential clients they're unable to assist.
When folks reach out to MZA Legal seeking assistance with something that I don’t do, I want to be able to refer them to someone else who can take care of them. As a young solo still building my network, this can be a difficult task, but Overture makes that referral process simple.
Whether I need an attorney in a different practice area, or a different state, Overture's platform makes it easy for me to find someone who is the right fit for the job. Plus, Overture's referral fee arrangement allows me to get paid for referrals without the need of awkward conversations. Plus plus, the platform is free to join so there’s no risk at all to give it a try.
My name is Darlene Hernandez, I am a senior litigation attorney at LF and Brown. If I were to name three things that I like about Overture, number one, it’s very easy to use, to post a referral, and the response time is lightning fast.
I have a multi-state practice, and sometimes we need local council very quickly, and posting on Overture has made that process so simple.
The last thing I would say is the quality of attorneys within the network, across the United States has really helped our practice, and also helped my clients find a home for their case.
And what is especially helpful is that Overture pays you, the attorney, to help your client find the right attorney. Thank you Overture.
