I have years of experience practicing labor, employment, education, and nonprofit law in private practice and for the U.S. government. I'm a public interest attorney who knows what it means to serve a mission, and I'm here to help you serve yours. Previously, I served in the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of General Counsel. There, my focus included civil rights, special education, elementary and secondary education, higher education, charter schools, and workforce development. Prior to that, I practiced labor and employment law, first at a firm in DC where I represented public sector employees and unions with whistleblower retaliation, wage and hour, and civil rights claims in Federal court, administrative proceedings, and labor arbitration. I then got an insider’s perspective in managing the country’s largest workforce when I served as an Attorney Advisor for the U.S. Merit Systems Protection Board. In that role, I advised the Board on novel issues arising in the course of administering Federal personnel laws.
