Personal Introduction
Ms. Patrick received her B.A. from the University of Florida and graduated from the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law with a J.D. in 2010. While in law school, Ms. Patrick served as an extern to U.S. District Judge Susan Bucklew and U.S. Magistrate Judge Gary Jones, both of the Middle District of Florida. Ms. Patrick clerked for the in-house legal department of NextEra Energy Resources, Inc., a subsidiary of Fortune 500 company FPL Group, and a leading producer of renewable energy within the United States. Ms. Patrick previously practiced construction litigation in Miami, Florida, and resides in the College Park neighborhood of Orlando. Ms. Patrick is a member of Leadership Orlando Class 89, and served as the Chair of AIA Orlando's Women in Architecture Committee in 2016. Ms. Patrick is also a frequent lecturer on the subject of construction litigation and contract construction.
