Personal Introduction
Amber Simmons is originally from Corpus Christi, Texas. Ms. Simmons graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi with a degree in political science, then received her juris doctorate from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio. After graduation, she dedicated her practice to family law, handling all types of domestic litigation throughout Texas. Ms. Simmons currently handles exclusively family law matters in the DFW area. Amber joined the BFL team in 2022. Amber has a passion for helping those in need, especially victims of domestic violence. She was published in the Harvard Blackletter Law Journal in July 2020. Amber is a member of the Dallas Bar Association, J.L. Turner Legal Association, and a member of the Women and Law, African American Lawyers, and Family Law sections of the Texas Bar Association.
