Personal Introduction

Amy Byer grew up in the metro-Detroit area and received her bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University. After MSU, Amy lived in New York City working as a project manager for corporate office and commercial spaces. There, she gained priceless experience on how to pay strict attention to detail, to be thoughtful and listen, and how to work in a fast-paced environment. Amy later relocated back home to metro-Detroit, where she helped her parents run their long standing family business. Realizing she wanted higher education, Amy decided to enter law school . Despite starting a family during the first year in law school, Amy graduated, on time, from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, cum laude.
