Personal Introduction

Andrew Stewart is a founder of Whitestone Law, PLLC. His experience includes a deep understanding of both business law issues as well as intellectual property law rights. Mr. Stewart counsels clients on general corporate matters and intellectual property portfolios, serving as outside counsel to private equity funds, their portfolio companies and emerging entrepreneurs. In that capacity, he provides legal guidance in all transactions and matters including investment transactions, complex commercial agreements, license agreements, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and when necessary, litigation matters. Mr. Stewart graduated with a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Lehigh University in 2011, and received his law degree from the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law in 2014, earning a Franklin Pierce Intellectual Property Law Certificate. Mr. Stewart was previously a law clerk at the U.S. International Trade Commission with the Office of Unfair Import Investigations, and prior to that held an in-house position at a design and rapid prototyping engineering firm. Mr. Stewart is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia and Virginia, and before the Eastern District Court of Virginia, Western District Court of Texas, and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
