Personal Introduction

Arique is a licensed attorney in New York and California. Before opening his law firm, Arique investigated and arraigned misdemeanor and felony arrests as an Assistant District Attorney with the Kings County District Attorney’s Office, and prosecuted child abuse/neglect cases as a Special Assistant Corporation Counsel for The City of New York, The Administration for Children’s Services. Arique graduated from St. Mary’s School of Law earning his LL.M in International Criminal Law where he studied various advanced legal courses. He authored papers and peer presentations on topics such as the Rome Statute, terrorism, the prosecution of Kim Jong-un, and more. Arique’s thesis was accepted: “A Universal Definition Of Terrorism Has Existed & Should Be Amended Into The Rome Statute Of The International Criminal Court As The 5th International Crime.” He received his J.D. from Charlotte School of Law, graduating in the top 11% of his class. Beyond his law practice, Arique is a father of three, a former foster parent, a contributing member of The National Advisory Council on Children’s Legal Representation, and a member of the Juvenile Justice Committee of the New York City Bar Association.
