We are a full-service firm, specializing in assisting individuals and families to plan for the future, supporting our clients through sensitive situations, and providing straight-forward and efficient guidance as our clients navigate the law. Estate planning is on so many of our clients' "to do" lists and their most common comment to us once we have finalized their matter or signed their estate plan documents is, "That was easy." Put plainly, with out 17+ years of experience and knowledge, we get it. Our mission is to help our clients navigate overwhelming situations with sensitivity, ease, and efficiency. Our experience is comprehensive and runs the gamut of an estate planning, trusts, and probate firm. We help provide our clients with security, working with clients on comprehensive, foundational estate plan documents, advanced planning for those with estate tax concerns, as well as succession planning for businesses or charitable planning for those so inclined. We also are well-versed in trust administrations and probate matters. The personal nature of our field and practice is such that our understanding of our client's personal beliefs and goals is imperative. In delivering practical and realistic solutions, we look forward to establishing such a relationship with each of our clients as their counselor at law.

Ms. Copp is recognized by the California State Bar as a certified specialist in the field of Estate Planning, Trust & Probate. Ms. Copp’s areas of practice and experience include revocable trusts and ancillary estate plan documents, such as wills, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives; estate and gift tax planning; estate and gift tax returns; trust planning; charitable gift planning; asset protection planning; family business succession planning; creation of limited liability companies; life insurance tax planning; post-mortem planning; planning with qualified plan assets; and administration of probates, trusts and estates. Ms. Copp is admitted to practice before the State Bar of California and is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association as well as both the Trusts and Estates and Taxation Sections of the State Bar of California. Since 2008, Ms. Copp has served on the Steering Committee of the Los Angeles Chapter of the California Society of CPAs Estate Planning Committee. Ms. Copp is a frequent public speaker and has given numerous presentations to various professional organizations, including the California Society of CPAs, Athlete’s Touch Manhattan Beach, and The South Bay Bar Association. Ashley Copp Law, APC works with clients located throughout the South Bay area, including the Palos Verdes Peninsula, Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, Torrance, San Pedro, Carson, Gardena, Lomita, Harbor City, Long Beach, Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, and Pasadena, to name a few. Ms. Copp is an avid equestrian and also enjoys camping and hiking with her husband, son, and two rescued greyhounds. She is a supporter of Manes for Movement, an equine assisted therapy center for children and adults with a variety of needs in our community.
