Ashley DeBoard, Esq.
Wills, Trusts, & Probate (Transactional/Litigation)
Flagstaff, Arizona
Personal Introduction
Ashley was raised in Flagstaff and is grateful to live and practice in her hometown community. Ashley attended Northern Arizona University, graduating summa cum laude. She received her law degree from Lewis and Clark Law School, graduating cum laude. As a law student, Ashley clerked for the Oregon Department of Justice General Counsel Office and for Earthrise Law Center, a public interest environmental litigation clinic. Ashley began her law career in private practice as an associate at Aspey, Watkins & Diesel, practicing family law, bankruptcy, and civil litigation. In 2012, Ashley joined the Coconino County Attorney’s Office, serving as a Deputy County Attorney. For several years, Ashley prosecuted misdemeanor, felony, and juvenile cases and served on two problem solving court teams (Recovery Court and Mental Health Court). In 2015, Ashley transitioned to the civil section of the County Attorney’s Office, serving as general counsel to the County, its elected officials, and various departments and taxing districts. Ashley’s practice as a civil deputy included land use, civil litigation, transactional and real estate practice, guardianships, tax, and many other local government matters. In 2019, Ashley formed Flagstaff Law Group, and is pleased to use her broad experience to serve her clients throughout northern Arizona. Ashley is also a busy mother of two boys. She credits her children for bringing her a deeper awareness to the needs for families and for inspiring her to design plans that families can count on to work when they are needed most. When she is not practicing, Ashley enjoys reading, gardening, and playing outdoors in this beautiful community with her family.
