His father and well-known designer, Isaac Manevitz, owned and operated Ben-Amun Co., Inc. for more than three decades. It was through this early exposure in the fashion industry that Ben first learned the importance of intellectual property protection, observing how crucial it was for designers to preserve their copyrights, trade secrets, and trademarks. Mr. Manevitz earned his Bachelor of Arts in English from Cornell University, and his Juris Doctor cum laude, Order of the Coif, from the University of Pennsylvania. He later received his LL.M. with Distinguished Performance in intellectual property from Cardozo. Prior to opening his practice, Ben worked with some of the nation's top intellectual property law firms, including Fross Zelnick, and Pennie & Edmonds. Attorney Manevitz is admitted to practice law in New Jersey, New York, the federal district of New Jersey, and both the Southern and Eastern federal districts of New York. As a member of the intellectual property sections of both the American Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association, Mr. Manevitz enjoys keeping up with the latest developments of intellectual property law. He is an accomplished author and has published multiple articles in prestigious legal publications. Ben is continuously motivated by his passion for helping individuals and businesses find logical, practical solutions to their challenging issues.
