Personal Introduction

Benjamin Schenk primarily practices in the areas of catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death. He was inspired to practice law by his father, Frederick Schenk, one of San Diego’s most accomplished trial attorneys. Born and raised in San Diego, Benjamin graduated from Dartmouth College (Magna Cum Laude) in 2008 with an A.B. in Government and minors in Theater and Public Policy. At Dartmouth, Benjamin was awarded Citations of Excellence in the study of Acting and was published in Dartmouth’s World Outlook Journal and Cornell’s International Affairs Review for his scholarship on Mexico’s cartel violence. After college, Benjamin worked at Ray Dalio’s hedge fund, Bridgewater Associates, and founded two companies. Benjamin was offered the Dean’s Outstanding Scholarship to attend the University of San Diego School of Law, from which he graduated in 2020.
