Personal Introduction

Bruce Weisenberg has been litigating California employment law cases since 2009 when he began his career at an esteemed boutique firm in San Francisco. There, he worked mainly as a defense lawyer, with some high-stakes plaintiff’s cases in the mix. While Bruce’s passion is bringing lawsuits on behalf of employees, his experience on the other side has proven invaluable in achieving consistently outstanding results for hundreds of plaintiffs over the years. After five years of learning from an enviable group of seasoned mentors, Bruce ran his own successful firm for over ten years, winning millions of dollars in settlements for employees, before joining RD Law Group. Bruce is a fearless advocate against the biggest and best law firms and has sued the world’s largest companies and public institutions without hesitation. He prides himself on helping employees tell their own stories, feel heard, regain the power they’ve lost after their termination, and heal from the trauma of a toxic work experience. He puts his client’s interests first but understands that fostering positive and collegial relationships with adversaries and the courts ultimately helps cases settle for maximum value. Bruce can handle any kind of employment case but especially loves helping anyone with a disability, whether that is a bad back, pregnancy-related disability, a medical condition, or mental health challenges like anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, and depression that make it hard to work in the “normal” way. Accommodation of mental health disabilities is an evolving area of law, and Bruce litigates on the cutting edge of these issues. Moreover, his compassion for clients going through a traumatic experience leaves clients who are going through a difficult time feeling like somebody cares about them. The same goes for whistleblowers and victims of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. Bruce will fight hard for you, and hopefully, at the end of your case, you’ll feel like you made a friend you can trust. It is a courageous and difficult decision to sue your old company, and you deserve a lawyer who will treat you with respect and compassion.
