Personal Introduction

After spending 14 years as a Big Law white collar criminal defense litigator, I obtained an LLM in Taxation and opened McPhillips Law in 2018 while living in Japan as a military spouse. I founded the firm on the principle that sophisticated legal services should be more accessible to busy professionals, military families, and small businesses. My approach to solving problems for clients - whether in estate planning, tax, business, or nonprofit law - is to infuse practical solutions into legal strategy.
