Personal Introduction

With over 25 years of work experience in legal affairs, I am the Head of Legal at Verseon Corporation, a biotechnology company that develops novel therapeutics for challenging diseases. I hold a JD from UCLA School of Law and a BS in Applied Physics from Caltech, which gives me a unique perspective on intellectual property, corporate, and technology law. I am responsible for overseeing all legal matters of the company, including contracts, compliance, litigation, and patent strategy. I also advise the executive team on business development, licensing, and regulatory issues. Previously, I was the general counsel at Speech Morphing Systems, a software company that creates natural-sounding speech synthesis solutions, where I managed all legal aspects of the company's operations, products, and partnerships. I am passionate about innovation, science, and justice, and I strive to use my legal skills and knowledge to protect and advance the interests of my clients, employers, and the public.
