Before her legal career, she worked in real estate dealing with high-stakes residential contracts. In 2021, Governor Laura Kelly appointed her to serve a four-year term as the 3rd Congressional District representative to the Kansas Real Estate Commission (KREC). After law school, she became a Contract Advisor certified by the National Football League Players Association (NFLPA) to counsel professional athletes with respect to negotiating their individual contracts.
