Personal Introduction

Cole Watson is a third-generation Iowa Parkian. His grandfather, Dr. Earl Watson, was the town doctor for several decades. His grandmother, Lita Watson, was the Wichita County Historian and helped establish the Museum of North Texas History. His parents, Carl and Kim Watson, own a marketing company and are pillars in the community. Cole graduated third in his class from Iowa Park High School. He attended the University of Texas at Austin as a Terry Scholar and then attended Texas A&M University School of Law on a full-ride scholarship. During Law School, he interned for the Eastland Court of Appeals, Fort Worth Court of Appeals, won the State Bar of Texas Craig Jordan Writing Competition, and graduated in the top third of his class. After law school, Cole practiced law at McMahon Surovik Suttle in Abilene, Texas and then at Elder, Bickings & Ellzey in Wichita Falls, Texas.
