Corey Gerson
Business / Contracts (Transactional)
Boulder, Colorado
Personal Introduction
Corey is a Co-Founder of G2L. He started his career at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in New York City where he focused on both litigation and commercial legal matters. After several years in Big Law, Corey transitioned in-house and joined the commercial legal team at a global SaaS startup and then at Databricks. At both companies, he navigated complex legal challenges during periods of intense growth and developed a deep understanding of each business. During this time, Corey also negotiated with a diverse set of customers, vendors, and partners that ranged in size from startups to Fortune 10 companies and that represented a broad spectrum of industries. This experience drove Corey to start G2L and he now helps many startups and growing businesses overcome the same types of challenges that he successfully resolved earlier in his career. Corey earned his J.D. from the American University Washington College of Law, where he was a member of the American University Business Law Review, and graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with honors and as a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society. When not working, he can be found outside hiking, camping, and skiing across Colorado. Corey is admitted to practice in Colorado and New York.
