Dan Dilzell

Personal Introduction

As General Counsel for Solomon Group, Dan handles all company contracts and negotiation, claims and risk management, compliance, insurance matters and litigation coordination and support. Dan was previously a litigation and commercial attorney since entering private practice in 2002, primarily at Jackson & Jackson, PLLC. Prior to entering private practice, Dan worked in the Clerk of Court's office at the Louisiana Supreme Court. Prior to joining Jackson & Jackson, Dan practiced at two small and mid-size defense firms representing insurance companies and businesses focusing on auto liability and mass toxic tort defense litigation. Dan represented small to mid-sized companies in defending worker’s compensation, longshore/harbor worker’s, auto liability and general liability claims. Dan has attained a Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent rating for Ethical Standards and Legal Ability in Civil Litigation by his peers for 2016-2023.
