Personal Introduction
My practice covers a broad range of state and federal litigation involving complex commercial transactions, fraud, defamation, intellectual property, regulatory compliance, unfair competition, and employment. I have managed all phases of litigation, including several jury and non-jury trials, and have submitted appeals to the California Courts of Appeal and Supreme Court, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. I also serve as outside general counsel for a variety of businesses in Southern California. In this capacity, I regularly advise clients on issues relating to contracts, licenses, intellectual property, online defamation, privacy, and regulatory compliance. Prior to joining The Internet Law Group, I worked at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, and Anglin, Flewelling, Rasmussen, Campbell, & Trytten LLP.

Practice Summary
I wrote the successful summary judgment that led to a published opinion in Roxbury Entertainment v. Penthouse Media Group Inc., et al, 669 F.Supp.2d 1170, 92 U.S.P.Q.2d 1760 (C.D.Cal. 2009). I have written numerous articles concerning areas of law that I specializes in, including the January 2017 cover article “Out of the Courts” for Los Angeles Lawyer magazine.

In addition to practicing law, I teach it. Since 2013, I have served as an Adjunct Professor at California State University, Northridge, where I lead two different business law courses for students in the College of Business and Economics. Ironically, most of what I teach my students is how to avoid litigation. I continue my life-long passion of being a frustrated Dodgers fan, and I like to take my frustration out on the golf course..
