Personal Introduction

Debra was raised in the Chicago area, graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in Finance and went on to receive her law degree at Chicago-Kent College of Law, focusing on corporate/securities and international law. After several years of practicing transactional law and civil litigation in Chicago, she moved to Ohio to start a family with her husband. With five kids in tow and a husband who traveled for work, Debra took a break from the full-time practice of law and supplemented life as a mom with short term contract legal positions. Now that they are all in school, Debra is excited to open her own practice and help the people in her community protect their own loved ones. When Debra is not caring for her five children and all their animals (dogs, cats, bunnies…) or dedicating her time to helping families with their legal needs, she enjoys serving coffee as a local barista, spending time with friends and creating art and jewelry through woodworking. Debra lives in Akron, Ohio.
