Personal Introduction

Doug has been practicing law in Georgia for nearly two decades. He graduated from Florida State University’s Law School in 2000, the same university he received his English Literature degree from in 1996. As the son of a Cuban-born mother, Doug speaks fluent Spanish, as does the entire law firm’s staff. Doug is a well known and respected member of the Latino community in Atlanta. He is also trusted and sought after as a frequent commentator on local news outlets such as Fox 5 Atlanta and WSB-TV Channel 2. He speaks about the impact legal matters have on the local community and offers legal insights to provide context for stories involving crimes, auto accidents and civil rights. Doug’s television appearance has helped countless families understand legal issues and laws that affect them. As an active member of the Cobb County and Gwinnett County Bar Associations, Doug additionally holds membership in the Georgia Injured Workers Association (GIWA), the Georgia Trial Lawyer's Association (GTLA), the National Trial Lawyer's Association (NTLA), the Georgia Hispanic Bar Association (GHBA), and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
