Personal Introduction

Liz Smith is currently the sole attorney and owner/CEO of 49th Estate Planning. She loves meeting people and helping them learn about the process their assets must go through upon death, and then to create a plan with you if you want to do something different than what happens without any planning. Planning includes education, wills, trusts, and other services to help you and your family prepare. She also enjoys helping other small businesses to reach their potential through ongoing coaching, legal work, and setup. Liz graduated from Vermont Law School in 2010 and spent over nine years working for the State of Alaska. She held many positions in that time including Assistant Public Defender and Assistant Attorney General. She took pride in serving the State, but became wary of the fight (fighting opposing counsel) and she nearly became disillusioned with being an attorney altogether. Fortunately she found ‘her thing’ with 49th Estate Planning and LOVES the business, our team, and our clients!
