She is a graduate of Atlanta John Marshall Law School. She obtained her undergrad degree in Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina and a Master's degree in Business Administration and Human Resources Management from American Intercontinental University in Dunwoody, GA. She graduated with honors in both programs and was inducted into the Alpha Phi Sigma Criminal Justice Honor Society and Delta Phi Beta Honor Society, respectively. She has actively participated in sports and entertainment for over 30 years. She is a former collegiate and professional athlete who is an NCAA DIV I school record holder, 6x SEC Champion, 3x All-American, National Champion, and Sydney Olympics 100-meter hurdle alternate, just to name a few athletic accomplishments. She is also a former certified NFL Agent. Ellakisha marries her professional experiences and academia to educate and protect athletes, creatives, small to mid-size business owners, and real estate clients in their pursuit of achieving success with her Gold Standard Ownership® philosophy. In addition to her legal advocacy on behalf of athletes, entertainers, and entrepreneurs, she channels her empowering efforts in our society as an author and speaker. She authored Code v. Code: The Street Code Versus The Legal Code, Contracting for Wealth, and Intellectual Prosperity: Protect Your Name, Image, and Likeness. As an educator, she shares insightful information and interviews on her podcast Seek ELLAvation®, educational workshops, and various speaking platforms such as TEDx.
