Personal Introduction
Eric D. Love is an associate attorney at Leav & Steinberg. As a former Bronx prosecutor, Mr. Love has significant experience achieving justice for crime victims at trial. Mr. Love brings his advocacy skills and commitment to helping victims to each case and each client. Mr. Love is passionate about trial advocacy. As a student, Mr. Love excelled in trial advocacy competitions on the high school, collegiate, and law school levels. As an attorney, Mr. Love serves the community by teaching trial advocacy and the rules of evidence to high school and law students. Before joining Leav & Steinberg, Mr. Love was employed by a prominent personal injury firm representing victims of Legionnaires’ disease outbreaks throughout the United States. Mr. Love was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 2017, Mr. Love received Honors Degrees (Hnrs. B.A.) from Pennsylvania State University, Schreyer’s Honors College in Political Science and Labor-Employment Relations. At Penn State, Mr. Love authored an honors thesis titled: A Measured Analysis of the Whistleblower Provisions in the 2015 FAST Act. Mr. Love received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2020. At Temple Law, Mr. Love received numerous awards and accolades for his trial advocacy skills. Mr. Love was among the top 16 trial advocates in the nation invited to compete at the 2020 Baylor School of Law Top Gun Trial Competition. Representing the #1 ranked trial advocacy program at the competition, Mr. Love was recognized with the 2020 Baylor School of Law Top Gun Professionalism Award.
