Wide Angle Youth Media Board Member Nov 2024 – Present | Baltimore, MD https://www.wideanglemedia.org/ As a board member for Wide Angle Youth Media, I contribute to empowering Baltimore’s youth through media arts education and storytelling. Wide Angle fosters creativity, critical thinking, and civic engagement by equipping young people with the tools to tell their stories and advocate for change. In this role, I help guide organizational strategy, support fundraising initiatives, and leverage my professional network to enhance the organization’s impact. Through this work, I hope to play a small part in advancing equitable opportunities for youth and supporting a more vibrant, inclusive community. ------ Ronald McDonald House Charities Red Shoe Crew Sep 2023 – Present | Baltimore, MD https://rmhcmaryland.org/ As a volunteer with The Red Shoe Crew in Baltimore, I mobilize Maryland's young professionals to engage in philanthropic activities supporting the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Baltimore (RMHC). Our initiatives focus on three core pillars: networking events for Baltimore's emerging leaders, community service projects throughout Maryland, and fundraising campaigns for RMHC. By organizing charity galas, coordinating volunteer days at the Ronald McDonald House, and facilitating professional development workshops, we're fostering a culture of giving back among Baltimore's young workforce. ------ Maryland Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts Attorney Volunteer June 2024 – Present | Baltimore, MD https://mdvla.org/ As an Attorney Volunteer with Maryland Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts (MDVLA), I provide pro bono legal assistance to artists across various creative disciplines in Baltimore and throughout Maryland. My work involves reviewing contracts, advising on copyright issues, and guiding artists through the complexities of small business law and practicalities. By offering free legal consultations to painters, musicians, writers, and performers, I help nurture Maryland's vibrant arts community. This role allows me to combine my lifelong passion for the arts (mainly as an enthusiastic fan) with my legal expertise, contributing to the cultural richness of Baltimore while expanding my practice in entertainment and intellectual property law.
