Personal Introduction

With more than 30 years of legal experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in high-stakes litigation, Ian is an aggressive trial lawyer with almost 50 jury trials taken to verdict and hundreds of bench trials. He is Martindale Hubbell A/V Preeminent Peer Review Rated for the highest legal ability and ethical standards. In addition to his extensive trial experience, Ian has served on the Board of Trustees and Chairperson for the Atlanta Bar Association's Lawyer Referral and Information Service, as well as the Board of Directors for the Solo & Small Firm Section. Ian was also an adjunct professor for 12 years teaching pretrial litigation to 3rd year law students at Emory University's School of Law. Born in Brooklyn and raised in New Jersey, Ian has called Atlanta his home since graduating from Emory Law in 1993. Ian is the father of two amazing young adults and spends his free time traveling, running and reading.
