Personal Introduction

I began my legal career as a Florida state prosecutor where I tried 30 jury trials, argued numerous motions, and handled hundreds of criminal cases from inception to resolution. I later worked as in-house counsel for one of the largest home and auto insurers in the world as well as one of the largest insurance defense firms in the U.S. In these roles, I handled many 6 and 7 figure cases that ranged from auto accident cases, wrongful death claims, professional malpractice claims, and complex construction defect matters. Since then, I founded M | J Law with a friend and colleague and we now represent the injured an accused. My experience as a prosecutor and insurance defense attorney has equipped me with valuable insight into the tactics used by the opposition and I use that insider knowledge to my client's advantage.
