JAZMIN G. CALDWELL is a Partner and Attorney at Elder Law & Estate Planning Solutions of the Piedmont. She was the previous owner and sole proprietor of The Law Office of J.G. Caldwell, PLLC; which was established in 2013. As a partner at Brown & Caldwell- Elder Law & Estate Planning Solutions of the Piedmont, she focuses on Estate Planning and Estate Administration. She is also well versed in Corporate Law (Business and Non-Profit Formation), Contract Formation, Real Property Law, and Deed Preparation for the residents of the Piedmont area of North Carolina. Jazmin has a strong desire to help the community and decided that through legal advocacy she could give back to the community that helped to nurture her. She has successfully litigated traffic offenses; as well as counseled countless clients on estate planning by preparing numerous estate planning documents. She is committed to making her legal services available to everyone and frequently volunteers as a Pro Bono Attorney at the Legal Services of the Southern Piedmont, as well as participating in Free Legal/Will Clinics, such as "Wills for Heroes," through the North Carolina Bar Association. She also provides free "Estate Planning Seminars" for various interested groups, churches, and organizations. Jazmin's main objectives with her clients is to make sure that they understand that she is dedicated to giving them honest advice and personable service while remaining focused on getting the results that they need in order to make sure they are secure; being protected now and into the future. She has the knowledge base to pinpoint legal issues for clients and make sure the client and their family members are protected. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her Juris Doctor at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University College of Law in Orlando, Florida. She is licensed to practice law by the State of North Carolina and is admitted into the United States District Court of the Western District of North Carolina. She is also admitted to the United States Supreme Court Bar. PROFESSIONAL COMMITMENT Jazmin’s professional affiliations include the North Carolina State Bar, the Mecklenburg County Bar Association, the Cabarrus County Bar Association, the North Carolina State Bar Association; and the American Bar Association. She has also been a member of the Charlotte Estate Planning Council. She has also been honored to be on the 2016, 2017, and 2019 Pro Bono Honor Roll by the North Carolina Supreme Court. COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT Jazmin also has a need to give back to her community through volunteerism; where she has been a member of the Concord Rotary Club since 2015, where she is currently serving as the 2020 President and has been member of the Board of Directors since 2016. She has also participated in many service projects such as the Salvation Army Can-A-Thon and Women Build through Habitat for Humanity in Cabarrus County. She currently serves on Cabarrus County Arts Council and is on the Legal Advocacy Panel for United Way of Carolinas. She is also a member of the Concord-Cabarrus Business and Professional Women's Club where she was the 2019 President, the 2015 Chair of the Frances B. Long Scholarship Committee, the 2016 Chair of the Public Relations and Newsletter Committee; and the 2016-2017 State Parliamentarian for the North Carolina Business and Professional Women's Club. She is currently serving as State Vice President for North Carolina Business and Professional Women’s Club; as well as a member of the Board of Trustees. She was also the winner of the 2016 Young Careerist Award for the State of North Carolina through the North Carolina Business and Professional Women's Club; and was featured in an article through the Independent Tribune. She was a member of the Board of Directors for the Ezekiel & Ruth D. Lowe Senior's Foundation located in Charlotte, NC. She recently participated in the 2019 Cabarrus Arts Council- Dancing for the Arts program; where she and her partner won the “Judges Choice” Award for best performance.
