Personal Introduction

David is an experienced business immigration attorney who has served companies and individuals in diverse types of cases. David was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. As an immigrant who went through the immigration process himself, David’s professional goal is providing extraordinary and culturally sensitive legal service rooted in empathy to his fellow immigrants. Before joining Passage, David worked at a law firm in Bellevue, Washington. He also advocated for marginalized immigrants and refugees by providing legal services at a community-based non-profit organization in Seattle, WA. David is a member of the New York State bar. He graduated with LL.M. and Ph.D. degress from the University of Washington School of Law. Outside of work, David loves exploring hidden coffee gems in Seattle and reading comics.
