Personal Introduction
Jonathan Savar is the founding partner of The Savar Law Firm. His practice focuses on representing startups, emerging growth companies, investors and founders on transactions, financings, contracts, governance and other commercial matters. Mr. Savar also regularly serves as outside general counsel to his clients, and counsels boards, C-level executives and management on critical governance matters as well as other important legal and business issues. Prior to founding The Savar Law Firm, Mr. Savar was a corporate attorney at several BigLaw firms (including Kirkland and Skadden) as well as a few highly-regarded regional firms. He was also previously the chief corporate deputy general counsel of a fintech, where he led the legal team in the company's successful IPO.
