Dakessian Law, Ltd. is a California-based state and local tax litigation boutique. We represent clients at all stages of tax controversy, from audit to the state's highest court when necessary. We represent and advise clients on matters pertaining to all state and local tax types including, but not limited to, corporate income tax, personal income tax, sales and use tax, property tax, tobacco and cannabis excise taxes, and local business license (gross receipts) taxes. While our focus is in California taxation, we have experience advising clients on other states' taxes as well. We also have extensive experience advising clients on tax residency questions and planning. We also have helped clients navigate collections issues, including tax liens, levies, and installment agreements.
