Personal Introduction
Kaitlin has always had a passion for criminal defense. She was one of the first attorneys hired when the Berrien Public Defender’s Office opened in 2017. In Kaitlin’s six years with the Defender’s Office she rose from assistant public defender to Chief Assistant and then Interim Chief Public Defender – before deciding to join Hills Law Office. Even while in law school Kaitlin demonstrated her passion for criminal defense. While still in law school Kaitlin worked for both the Muskegon County and Kent County Public Defender offices. In her career Kaitlin has handled just about every kind of criminal defense matter there is from trespassing to life offense cases.
