Personal Introduction
Attorney Kevin E. Dehghani was admitted to the Bar of the State of Connecticut in April, 1997. His main areas of practice are immigration, medical malpractice and personal injury law. In his immigration practice Attorney Dehghani represents clients in all types of visa applications, asylum applications, naturalization applications, labor certifications and work visas, family based green card applications and deportation defense. Attorney Dehghani also represents immigration clients in appeals to the Board of Immigration Appeals and Administrative Appeals Office, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Attorney Dehghani has had multiple victories at the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, some of which are precedent setting cases. He also has multiple sucesses in complex medical malpractice and other civil litigation cases in courts of the State of Connecticut. Prior to establishing Dehghani & Associates, LLC, Attorney Dehghani was an associate attorney with the law firm of Solomon, Krupnikoff and Wyskiel, P.C. in Meriden, CT, where he established the immigration law practice of the law firm. While at this law firm, Attorney Dehghani also practiced in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice, administrative law and employment law. ttorney Dehghani received his Juris Doctor degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law, where he was the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in International Law. He also served on the law school’s Environmental Law Moot Court team. He received his B.S. Degree in biology from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. Attorney Dehghani has served as an adjunct professor of International law at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. He has also been the presenter at numerous immigration law seminars for the legal community. Attorney Dehghani is a member of the Connecticut Bar, where he is also admitted to the Bar of the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut. He is also a member of the Bar of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, United States Tax Court and the Bar of the Mohegan Tribe Gaming Disputes Court. He is a member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and American Bar Association
