Personal Introduction

I am Outside General Counsel for my clients - think in-house counsel for companies that don't have the need or the budget for a full time in-house lawyer. Corporate formation and governance, all things contracts, and employment law. I also manage additional outside counsel in specialized areas such as local counsel, litigation, and specialized niche topics. Most clients range from startup/formation to IPO, including pre-seed to Series D funding. While I will handle administrative hearings and appeals, I do not handle any litigation directly. In addition, I previously served as a Chief Financial Officer. As a result, I have a heavy financial influence on my work, doing a variety of tax controversy, financing, and debt restructuring work. Including multi-state unclaimed property audits and training. A lawyer that can do math!

Personal Interests & Charitable Work

I am based in Atlanta, Georgia, but you may find me serving clients from almost anywhere - I have built my law firm to be entirely virtual and be able to work from my RV. I am a big sports fan, so my travels often take me to Georgia Tech and other sporting events.

What is Overture?
