Personal Introduction

The Real Estate Law Group was founded by Attorney Leslie A. Margolies and is dedicated exclusively to the practice of real estate law and landlord-tenant law. Ms. Margolies has a unique perspective as a landlord-tenant attorney because she has always represented both landlords AND tenants. She is also a licensed realtor and has been a successful landlord herself since her graduation from law school over 35 years ago. Unlike other real estate attorneys who typically only represent the landlord, her depth of knowledge and insight into landlord-tenant issues gives her a competitive edge. Whether formulating a trial strategy or negotiating a settlement agreement, she is known to be a fierce advocate for her clients and definitely a force to be reckoned with in Landlord Tenant Court. Ms. Margolies received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1982 from Northwestern University and her Juris Doctorate degree from Temple University School of Law in 1986. Upon graduation from law school, she was awarded the Wapner Newman Award for Excellence in Civil Trial Advocacy.
