Personal Introduction

Marc Mackenzie received his J.D. with honors from The George Washington University Law School. During law school, he was a member of The George Washington Law Review and served as a Dean’s Fellow. He earned his B.A. from University of California Santa Cruz. Prior to founding Acorn Law, he worked as an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of the international law firm Hogan Lovells in their corporate mergers and acquisitions group. He is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. Marc is a member of the Ventura County Bar Association, ProVisors, and WealthCounsel. He was selected by SuperLawyers as a Rising Star for 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023. Marc is an Eagle Scout and is active in his community. He lives in Camarillo with his wife Emily and daughters Lucy and Sophie.
