Personal Introduction

MARY E. LYTLE graduated from Furman University in 1990 with a major in political science. She then obtained her Juris Doctorate degree with honors from Florida State University College of Law in 1993. She also served on the Journal of Land Use and Environmental Law. Initially she practiced overseas in the U.S. Territory of Guam before returning to the state of Florida where she became a member of the Florida Bar. During her practice, Attorney Lytle has spent the majority of her career practicing exclusively as an employment law attorney, representing both employees and employers. Her practice includes the handling of cases involving discrimination, retaliation, unpaid overtime, violations of the Family Medical Leave Act, whistleblower cases, non-compete contracts, workers compensation retaliation and other employment law related causes of action. Her past community affiliations include Co-Editor of the Orange County Bar Briefs, positions on the Board of Central Florida Women Lawyers including President-Elect, service on the Board of Christian Service Center, Chair for the Feed the Need Committee, Guardian Ad Litem for abused and neglected children and pro bono service for various clients. She is admitted to practice before all state courts in Florida, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida. She serves as Managing Partner for the Firm.
