Personal Introduction

Matt Cortez is a Small Business, Estate Planning, and Real Estate attorney in Southern California. He graduated Magna Cum Laude in the top of his class from the ABA Accredited Western State College of Law, in Irvine, California. He was the Outside Articles and Symposium Editor on Law Review and Student Bar Association President. Prior to law school, Matt graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. degree in psychology from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California. Matt is a licensed real estate broker in California and has been licensed with the Department of Real Estate for almost 9 years. He is on the Board of Directors for Orange County Realtors and on the Board of Directors for the California Association of Realtors. He is also the Vice Chair of the California Association of Realtors Legal Affairs Forum, ensuring that real estate attorneys are kept up to date on case law and legal issues affecting their clients.
