Personal Introduction

Matt is real estate investor and attorney residing in the Franklin, Tennessee area with his wife and two young sons. Matt’s legal career has focused on representing real estate professionals, investors, developers, and operators in connection with breach of contract and tort disputes related to real estate and construction. Matt is a real estate investor/operator with approximately $30M of assets under management consisting primarily of multifamily and office in Tennessee. In his real estate investments, Matt focuses on office, retail, and multifamily real estate acquisitions, with an emphasis on seller-financing, sub-to, and other creative deal structures. Matt’s extensive experience with real estate investing and business ownership provides him with a unique perspective and background when it comes to representing real estate and construction clients. Matt is also a part owner of the Foundation Title Franklin Series and an owner of Cloud Realty. Matt is involved in the local real estate investor community, including REIN, and is the local chapter leader for GoBundance. Matt loves spending time coaching and mentoring other aspiring entrepreneurs and real estate investors. Matt has a unique talent for creative deal structuring, negotiations, simplifying complex problems, and appropriately assessing risk. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family, mentoring/coaching those aspiring to financial freedom, learning about real estate and business, poker, pickleball, traveling, the outdoors, reading, and running.
