Personal Introduction
Michael D. Rex is the founder of Rex Legal, LLC, a Denver law firm representing individuals and families in serious personal injury, wrongful death, and insurance disputes. Michael has been selected to the Colorado Rising Stars list by Super Lawyers in both 2025 and 2026 and is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. His practice includes catastrophic injury, traumatic brain injury, motor vehicle collisions, dangerous products and property, insurance bad faith, and denied or underpaid insurance claims. A brain-injury survivor himself, Michael understands that a serious injury affects far more than a person’s medical records. He founded Rex Legal to provide determined, sophisticated advocacy while maintaining the personal attention clients deserve during some of the most difficult periods of their lives. Michael earned his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and is active in the Colorado Bar Association, the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, and Colorado’s solo and small-firm legal community. Rex Legal also proudly supports the Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado.
