Michelle Murphy
Elder Law, Wills, Trusts, & Probate (Transactional)
League City, Texas
Personal Introduction
After graduating from the University of Houston Law Center, I began my career at a mid-sized litigation firm representing corporate clients. From there I moved into an in-house position handling transactional oil & gas work. While these positions allowed me to build strong technical skills and experience in both litigation and transactions, I was missing something. My original motivation for going to law school was to help people, and I could not see the results of my efforts. I longed to help families and to make a difference in the lives of real people. I now focus on Elder Law, Estate Planning, Medicaid, Probate and Bankruptcy so that I can help families preserve and transfer their hard-earned assets and avoid the family conflict that arises when proper planning is not done. My main focus is on client care. I strive make the complicated legal processes easier for clients and to provide them peace of mind in these stressful times.
