Personal Introduction
I started my career at Legal Aid and then the Public Defender's Office in Dallas. Quickly I realized that I couldn't spend the time necessary to represent my clients the way I new they deserved. I started my practice focused on this principle: treating people right. I run a client-centered criminal defense practice. Knowing my clients are stressed and frightened facing serious criminal charges, I strive to get them the best possible results while also delivering the best possible client experience.

We focus on our clients as people by taking the time to understand not just the facts of their case, but who they are and what they need. Knowing that the legal process can be intimidating, we explain the process, our clients’ rights, and their options. We focus on providing the best possible client experience by communicating regularly with our clients using the most up-to-date and secure technology. We offer 24 hour jail release for people in jails within Dallas County (including city jails within Dallas County).

New Friends New Life is a wonderful organization that helps women who have been exploited and trafficked. I found NFNL completely by surprise when I reconnected with a former client I'd gotten probation and drug treatment ten years prior. It turned out she had been referred to NFNL by her probation officer and they'd changed her life completely.
