Smith, PLLC), I bring a wealth of knowledge and skills to the table. I represent start-ups and emerging growth companies, from infancy to maturity, in various industries, including fintech and biotech startups among others. Services include formation, IP protection, contract and document review, general counsel, general business/legal advising, M&A, investment structures, debt/equity financing, seed rounds/cap raises, and dealing with venture capital/private equity. Litigation has included corporate & business litigation, vendors & customer disputes, breach of contract, fraud claims, deceptive trade practices disputes, estates & trust, and personal injury. Either as lead counsel, second chair, or as part of the team involved in developing the case, discovery, and prepping for trial. I am also at Quadros, Migl, & Crosby as Of Counsel. Previous experience was at the Ohio County Prosecuting Office focusing on violent crimes. And at the US Attorney, Northern District of West Virginia dealing with violent crimes & white collar crimes.
