Robert Dombrowski, Esq.
Workers Compensation (Litigation)
Windsor, Connecticut
Personal Introduction
Board Certified Workers' Compensation Specialist Robert R. Dombrowski is the managing attorney at the Dombrowski Law Group. This firm was founded to focus on helping people who unexpectedly find themselves dealing with injury, mounting medical bills and lost time from work after personal injury or a work place accident. At Dombrowski Law Group, we focus on our client's needs whether it be making claims to ensure proper treatment and compensation or complex litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Attorney Dombrowski had an extensive history working for insurance companies including MassMutual; Reliance Standard; and The Hartford focusing on risk assessment, employee benefits, and ERISA litigation. While now focused on advocating for the injured, Attorney Dombrowski previously practiced general litigation, toxic tort, employment matters and Workers' Compensation defense as a Partner of the insurance defense firm of Morrison Mahoney LLP. This experience puts Attorney Dombrowski in the unique position to anticipate the big insurance companies' strategies and tactics while fighting for you. Attorney Dombrowski is recognized as a "Board Certified Workers' Compensation Specialist" by the Connecticut Bar Association. Only a very small percentage of attorneys in the State of Connecticut are Board Certified Workers' Compensation Specialists. To achieve this distinction, one must past a rigorous written examination, have extensive Workers' Compensation experience, and submit recommendations from peers. Attorney Dombrowski is admitted to the bar of the State of Connecticut and the United States District Court of Connecticut. He is also an active member of the Connecticut Bar Association and the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association. Attorney Dombrowski is a graduate of Ealing College, the University of Connecticut (B.A.) and Temple University, James Beasley School of Law (J.D.). He is also involved in various local organizations and charities. Of note, he is a member of his town's Commission for Persons with Disabilities; a member of the CBA Pro Bono Network; and a former Assistant Scoutmaster for a local Boy Scout troop. Born and raised in Connecticut, he enjoys spending time with his wife and family especially now that he is an empty nester, traveling and being outdoors with his two goofy dogs.
