Sami Sedghani, Pharm.D., J.D., is a nationally-recognized, award-winning litigation attorney and the founder and managing attorney at Synergist Law. Mr. Sedghani represents plaintiffs in personal injury and commercial disputes in California and across the nation. A skilled negotiator and trial attorney, Mr. Sedghani has built a reputation for litigation excellence over the last decade-plus, litigating multi-million-dollar cases against fortune 500 companies. Mr. Sedghani began his career litigating high stakes cases at the international law firm of Latham & Watkins LLP which is consistently recognized as one of the top law firms in the world. With over a decade of litigation experience going against some of the largest companies in the United States, Mr. Sedghani has an in-depth understanding of how large companies litigate cases and has a proven track record of defeating them in court. For his achievements in the field, he has been recognized by Best Lawyers Ones to Watch for outstanding professional excellence in private practice and by Super Lawyers magazine for his high degree of peer recognition and professional achievements, an honor reserved for no more than 2.5 percent of attorneys in each state. Mr. Sedghani specializes in personal injury cases involving product liability, premises liability, assault, and medical negligence. Mr. Sedghani’s prior pharmaceutical and medical training provide him a unique advantage as these types of matters require not only a high legal IQ but also a high degree of technical and scientific proficiency. Mr. Sedghani graduated U.C. Hastings Law School magna cum laude (top 10% of his class) and was admitted to the Order of the Coif for high attainment in the study of law and the Thurston Society for academic excellence in the study of law. Mr. Sedghani earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of California San Francisco and co-authored the seventh edition of California Pharmacy Law which is a textbook that deals with the myriad of regulatory laws affecting the practice of pharmacy in the state of California.
