Practice Summary

My practice is composed primarily of the prosecution of patent and trademark applications with the USPTO. I engage with clients who come to me with an invention idea or a business that they want to start and to brand. I assist with preapplication searching in both areas, provide opinions on success, make the applications and prosecute the office actions. I also maintain issued intellectual property in my calendar for maintenance and renewal. I also offer opinions on infringement in the form of cease and desist letters and responses thereto. I also assist with drafting of licensing agreements. My practice stops at the point litigation is needed and that is when the referral process takes hold.

Personal Interests & Charitable Work

I am on the Board of the Rhythmic Arts Project, a 501c3 charitable corporation that improves the lives of people with disabilities through the use of rhythm and music. I am also a musician myself and I dabble in oil painting. I am the mother of two children. I practice yoga and swim regularly. Other interests include gardening, raising chickens and making herbal concoctions.
