Personal Introduction
Sean M. Jones founded the firm in 2015 after an extensive legal career that began in early childhood, growing up in the shadows of his father and uncle, both prominent Central Valley attorneys. Having Litigated hundreds of cases in both State and Federal Court during his early years of practice and establishing a reputation in the San Diego legal community as a formidable trial advocate, Mr. Jones separated from his previous firm in 2015 to start his own practice, focusing on helping clients through a solutions-oriented approach to not just resolve their immediate legal issues, but to use the process to effect lasting and positive change in their lives. This unique approach has also proven extremely effective at preventing negative impact on clients' careers, finances, families, and immigration status. Since starting his practice, Sean has helped clients across Southern California and Nevada, and as a result of his dedication to protecting his clients’ interests and providing principled and honest advice, his law firm has been rewarded with consistent praise and recommendation from current and former clients. As a lifelong entrepreneur himself -- starting his first business, Prometheus Digital, in high school -- Sean enjoys working with small businesses and other entrepreneurs, helping them get up and running, connecting them with financial partners, and guiding them as they grow and expand. Sean is admitted to practice in the States of California and Nevada as well as the Federal District Courts for Central and Southern California and all of Nevada. He is also a licensed California Realtor and a member of the National Association of Realtors in addition to the California and San Diego Realtor boards.

We are a solutions-focused law firm, operating on a belief that all areas of legal practice boil down to the fundamental principle of using specialized knowledge of the law, experience, and training, to guide clients through complex and difficult situations, and improve their quality of life. We pride ourselves on creative problem solving; using every tool at our disposal to find a path toward our clients' unique and individual desired outcomes. We have found this approach to be especially effective in the area of criminal defense. We believe the law helps individuals who help themselves. First, we identify whether a case is suitable for trial. If there are deficiencies in the evidence or the client is unwavering in his or her insistence of innocence, then we begin preparing for trial from the outset. However, if the evidence is strong or the client admits fault and expresses a desire to right his or her wrong, then we assume the role of counselor, helping our client use the criminal justice process as a springboard for rehabilitation and a new and improved life. We are frequently rewarded by clients who tell us their arrest was the best thing that ever happened to them because it was the beginning of their transformation, and that our guidance and encouragement made their success possible. Our commitment to creative problem solving and a solutions-oriented approach to law has influenced every other area of our practice, including personal injury, business litigation, and corporate governance. Outside of work, Sean enjoys traveling and staying active with his wife and two daughters. Sean is an avid surfer, snowboarder, and rock climber, and frequently competes in triathlons and marathons.
