Practice Summary

I have practiced law in New Orleans for more than 20 years, with extensive courtroom experience as a criminal defense attorney and a background handling hundreds of personal injury, insurance, and civil litigation matters. I founded Bloom Legal in 2004 and built the firm into a recognized legal resource for individuals and businesses throughout Greater New Orleans and Southeast Louisiana. My practice later evolved when I moved into legal technology, including several years with Levelset, which was acquired by Procore. While working in the construction technology space, I built and managed a nationwide digital network of construction attorneys. That experience gave me a strong working knowledge of construction law, technology-driven legal services, and the capabilities of lawyers across the country. Today, I lead Bloom Legal Network, a boutique, technology-enabled law firm that combines direct senior-level representation with a carefully developed network of experienced attorneys. I selectively handle matters involving criminal defense, DUI and traffic offenses, business disputes, estate planning, federal litigation, local counsel representation, and complex civil and class-action litigation. BloomLegal.com has developed a substantial presence throughout Greater New Orleans and continues to generate inquiries involving criminal defense, personal injury, traffic matters, business law, and other civil disputes. When a matter falls outside my core practice or would benefit from specialized experience, I use the relationships and systems I have developed throughout my career to connect the client with the right attorney while remaining involved when appropriate.
