Personal Introduction

With over a decade of experience in immigration, family law, and estate planning, Sheetal Chopra is committed to helping individuals, families, and businesses navigate life’s most important legal decisions with confidence and care. Sheetal believes that every case is more than just paperwork - it’s about people, families, and futures. Whether you’re seeking to bring a loved one to the U.S., secure your family’s long-term plan, or protect your business interests, she approaches each matter with compassion, clarity, and a deep sense of responsibility. Before becoming an attorney, Sheetal spent 10 years working alongside leading immigration lawyers, gaining hands-on experience in a wide range of employment-based and family-based immigration cases - including H-1B, L-1 visas, adjustment of status, and change of status petitions. This early exposure gave her a strong foundation in both the legal and human sides of immigration, shaping her client-centered approach today. Sheetal brings over 8 years of corporate legal and compliance experience in the biotech, diagnostics, and healthcare technology industries in addition to her immigration work. She provided regulatory compliance, risk management, and contract lifecycle processes advice while collaborating closely with corporate counsel. This experience sharpened her ability to predict problems and provide workable, strategic solutions. Sheetal earned her Juris Doctor from Northwestern California University School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Hamirpur. She is also working toward the International Association of Privacy Professionals' (IAPP) CIPP/US privacy law certification. Sheetal is a lawyer who listens, understands, and counsels with both empathy and knowledge. Clients frequently describe Sheetal as composed, focused, and solutions-oriented. Her goal is straightforward: to help each client she works with understand complicated legal procedures in a more straightforward, straightforward, and personalized way.
